The Judy's Reunite!    April 2, 2005

The Judy's performed a secret, invitation-only benefit concert at the Pearland Center Theater.  They raised a large amount of money that will be donated to the Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research in Houston. 100% of the money will be used for DSRCT cancer research!  Many thanks to David, Dane and Jeff for this amazing night!

Pearland's other infamous band, The Mod Caesars, came out of a twenty year retirement and opened up the show.  Nicholas Walton showed off his amazing ventriloquism skills during intermission.

    Concert Invitation

The night's theme was a circa 1971 Pearland Elementary School talent show.  This was fitting because it was held in our old elementary school auditorium.  The Judy's were brought onstage by a lady who claimed to be Miss Martin, our old music teacher.  The boys came out dressed in their maroon Pearland Elementary School choir "P" outfits and opened with Vacation In Teheran.

The 400 or so audience members heard many classic Judy's hits and a few surprises including You Let Me Down, Food That Fell From Outer Space, and Monster Party.  We had some uninvited guests drop by from the Pearland Fire Department when the fog machine set off the fire alarm.

The Judy's came out for an extended encore set dressed in their milk man costumes.  The audience was blown away about how great the Judy's still are after all of these years.
